1. Client-Side Processing (Zero-Trust)

HackThePDF operates strictly within your local browser environment. We do not upload, store, transmit, or parse your PDF files on any external server. All heuristic scanning, hex dumping, and metadata extraction occur client-side. Once you close the browser tab, all processed data is permanently destroyed.

2. Google AdSense & Cookies

To keep our forensics tools free, we use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites.

• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and/or other sites on the Internet.

3. Log Files

Like standard web servers, our hosting environment logs basic non-personally identifying information, such as browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. This data is used solely for monitoring server health and mitigating DDoS attacks.
